Change of auditor
Changing your statutory auditor is easier than many people think. We take care of the formalities and make sure that your next audit takes place without interruption.
How the change works
- 1
Initial meeting and quote
You send us your most recent annual financial statements. We clarify scope, deadlines and independence and submit a fixed-fee quote.
- 2
Letter of acceptance
We send you our written letter of acceptance.
- 3
Election by the general meeting
The general meeting elects us as the new statutory auditor; on request, we provide the draft wording for the agenda item and the minutes.
- 4
Commercial register
We prepare the filing with the commercial register office.
- 5
Handover
With your authorisation, we contact the previous statutory auditor.
- 6
Audit planning
Together we set the date for the first audit.
Note on costs
We cover the costs of the change (commercial register fees, filing).
